Shuksan Middle School has appointed Jessica Wallace as its new assistant principal for the 2026-2027 school year, according to a June 25, 2026, message from Principal Craig Baldwin.

Wallace, who currently serves as a TOSA (Teacher on Special Assignment), led the school's Multi-Tiered Systems of Support committee and facilitated professional development on literacy and early childhood education. She taught at Birchwood Elementary for seven years and earned her principal certificate through the University of Washington Danforth Educational Leadership Program.

The appointment replaces the previous assistant principal position, with Wallace bringing experience in inclusive classroom practices and data-driven teaming to Shuksan Middle School.
