Shuksan Middle School Appoints New Assistant Principal

Shuksan Middle School has appointed Jessica Wallace as its new assistant principal for the 2026-2027 school year.

Wallace, a current TOSA at Shuksan, has led the school's Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS) Standing Committee, implementing inclusive classroom practices and data-driven teaming. She has facilitated professional development for staff on thinking maps, literacy, and early childhood education.

Prior to her TOSA role, Wallace taught at Birchwood Elementary for seven years. She earned her principal certificate through the University of Washington Danforth Educational Leadership Program, a master's degree in language and literacy from Western Washington University, and a bachelor's degree from Eastern Washington University.
