I-5 Fish Passage Work Causes Multiple Lane Closures

πŸ”Š Listen Β· narrated by Aiden

I-5 southbound will use a temporary two-lane bypass near Chuckanut Creek starting Sept. 11, through 5 a.m. Sept. 18. Northbound I-5 will use a two-lane bypass starting Sept. 11, through Oct. 31. Both projects aim to install new fish passable structures.

Nightly lane reductions on I-5 near the North Lake Samish exit will continue through Sept. 15. The Alger/Lake Samish Road on-ramp to northbound I-5 will close nightly from Sept. 14 to 16. Detours include the Nulle Road on-ramp. A separate SR 9 paving project will require alternating traffic on Klein Ditch Bridge through Sept. 17.
