Starting Monday, July 27, WSDOT will implement multiple lane closures on state highways in Whatcom County. Southbound I-405 will have up to two lanes closed nightly between mileposts 18. 11 and 16. 45 from 11 p.m. to 4 a.m. until July 31. Southbound SR 527 will close its center lane nightly from 9 p.m. Monday to 12 a.m. Thursday, July 30.
State Route 203 will have one lane closed for paving between mileposts 12. 53 and 23. 20 from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Sunday through Friday mornings. SR 96 will alternate traffic with flaggers daily from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. until July 31. SR 20 will alternate traffic daily from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. starting July 28 until July 30. US 2 will close traffic to alternating lanes nightly from 9 p.m. to 4 a.m. through July 31.
WSDOT notes SR 155 remains closed due to a wildfire between Nespelem and Omak with no reopening estimate. Drivers should plan for delays and check WSDOT's website for updates.
