I-405 and I-90 highway work will impact commuters in Bellingham starting Monday, Aug. 24, according to WSDOT. The closures include two lanes of southbound I-405 between SR 520 and Northeast 12th Street from 9 p.m. Aug. 24 to 5 a.m. Aug. 25 for pavement repair.
Other closures include an eastbound I-90 on-ramp from 142nd Place Southeast on Aug. 23-24, a northbound I-405 off-ramp to Northeast 85th Street nightly from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. through Aug. 22, and a westbound SR 522 off-ramp to southbound I-405 from 9 p.m. Aug. 21 to 8 a.m. Aug. 22.
Work will also include one-way alternating traffic on 112 from Aug. 24-27 for a fish barrier project, and single-lane closures on the Vaughn Hubbard Bridge near Pasco until further notice. The left express toll lane of northbound I-405 will close nightly through Aug. 23.
